Bluepanda... It's ok to have a pajama day if that is what you need. I have had several of them.
Try not to think of your quit in terms of Forever. That is way too much to comprehend at this point. You are quit for today and that is all that matters. When today seems like too much then you are quit for the next five minutes. You build on those minutes. You can only travel this road one step at a time. I think in the beginning all of us wanted to be able to speed up those meters and be over all the horrible withdrawal and emotional stuff that was going on. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. You have to fight for this quit but you only have to do it one minute at a time. As long as you don't light that next cigarette, you are doing fine.
Minutes lead to hours, hours lead to days, days lead to weeks, weeks to months...... Get the picture? Five minutes at a time. Deep Breathes. Kick, scream, yell, cry, sleep, punch a pillow, break dishes, whatever it takes, just don't smoke. You are doing great!
