I just read your link. Seems like everyone's quit is, in fact, quite different. I just went off the patch yesterday and tossed and turned all night, which I never do.
I can't help thinking that, while using nrt's are better than smoking, the link in our brains between lower nicotine levels and a cigarette stay put. I've been in almost constant crave mode with the patch and the weaning process. I haven't had even a puff of smoke in all these days, but I think, in a way, the patch may have kept me in a constant state of withdrawel.
Still, I know, without the patch, the first week would have been impossible so the remaining weeks would have been a moot point. Eventually we have to get off nicotine too. (don't we?) No one said it would be easy, that's for sure.
Hang in there- you're doing great!
Bob
