Hi All, Previously I said I will quit on 17 April 2006, change of plans! My new quit date will be on 10 April 2006, which leaves me with 4 days and I can't wait! My bronchitus is still much present, I just can't get rid of it, and this morning I read in an email from support that 3 days after your last cigarette, your bronchial tubes relax and lung capasity betters! So I'm just gonna stop earlier. Believe me - I'm ready! Wish me luck! Gogga. Well hello again Gogga! That is wonderful that you are moving up your quit date! You do sound ready. There must be something in the air lately. I know of 4 people, myself included, who caught this nasty chest thing. Mine, however, was over in 8 days. And no antibiotics. Doc said viral bronchitis. I was so happy as this is the VERY first cold/chest thing I have had in 18 years that did not develop some sort of hacking cough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, the 2 other who smoke, well they hit 12 days today of hacking. Both are now on antobiotics and codine cough syrup. This is one more proof for me that I am healing. This was the best decision, and it is for you too. For everybody!!! You can do this. We are all here for you! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 31 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 943 Amount Saved: $101.37 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 12 Mins: 42 Seconds: 52
