Hey Spark, nice to see you have decided to become a "quitter". Can I ask why March 5th is your day? Is it your birthday or another special event? I ask because quitting will become the best thing you have ever done for yourself and you wouldn't want to put that off now would you? It is a lot of hard work, but with the tools on this site and the great people, you too can have people calling you a QUITTER!! Let us know how you're doing. That's great news Spark. There are a few people on this site who also have quit with family members and spouses. The cleaning supplies is a great idea. It is great to get rid of all the smoky build-up the walls have accumulated. I also cleaned like crazy the first week of my quit. Now is a good time for you and your wife to decide how you will handle those craves. You may want to exercise together, go for walks, whatever keeps you busy. It sounds like you are starting to get a good plan in place. Keep in touch with us. Spark, Try changing your morning routine :) By doing small steps like this, your craves will not be so automatic. Have your coffee on the way out or for your drive to work. Driving and sipping coffee will keep you occupied and you won't get the wake up morning crave with your coffee. It still might be there, but use your coping mechanisms to shove it to the curb! Keep Strong, Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team.
