Is your sadness related to feelings that you have "lost" something??? Are you not letting go of smoking because you think it was such a comfort?? Are you looking at a smoke free life as "scarey"??? Do you feel that smoke free means you will be "less" in some way???
there is a fantastic post that addresses this question....When will it stop? ( by Duffis I think....kick me if I am wrong?) Hopefully someone will drag that up for you?? The point is, it will stop when YOU tell it to. When you SEE smoking for the dirty, disgusting, deadly addiction that it really is. you must turn your thinking from the negative into the positive. You are still thinking about smoking.....the trick is to learn to wallow in the power of NOT smoking instead of the so called sadness of quitting. ;p
