Day 14 huh? One of the worst days of my quit was Day 14. I posted that I was ready to quit my job and go buy a pack but I was only going to smoke one. Hummy came on line and said DON"T YOU DARE SMOKE!
You have worked very hard for those 14 days. If you smoke now you will have done all that fighting for nothing. Take some deep breathes and know that this will pass. Do something to take your mind off of the crave. Read a book, watch a funny movie, kick, scream, cry, break dishes... whatever it takes.... Just don't smoke. If none of that works guess what? You still don't smoke. You can make it through this killer crave.
Quitting is difficult and although you may wish you were dead, it will not kill you. Two things I repeated over and over again when I craved early in the quit.
1. When I smoked, I wanted a cigarette all the time. Now that I don't smoke, I only want one some of the time.
2. Every day is one day closer to never feeling this way again.
Let us know how you are doing. I'm not going anywhere.
