Good job! I know exactly what you're talking about! I crave those things too. Knitting works for me. I'm not particularly good at it (pretty horrible actually), but it keeps me busy and relaxes me. Also sunflower seeds. It takes a while to clean them, so they keep your hands occupied. Good luck, day 9 was the hardest for me. Well I am pleased to say I am feeling alot better today, its been over a week not puffing! The withdrawl symtoms are starting to ease but not totally! haha There are times when i get a craving for just the smoke!! is that weird or what, you know the action of puffing a big ol cloud of that smoke and the release of blowing it out. and actually holding one. I have bought a box of straws and when that urge hits me i cut a straw about the size of a cig, and pretend i am puffing up that smoke and blowing it out and that usaully makes that craving go away. (sometimes) anyone have any good ideas about how to keep my hands busy???? You could use one of those little filled rubber hand strengtheners. I personally love eating little jellybeans one at a time. And I am glad you are feeling better today. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 31 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 633 Amount Saved: $232.5 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 3 Mins: 41 Seconds: 22

Get that stuff that they pack boxes with -- we call it poppers -- and just pop away. Added bonus: it'll drive everyone crazy! :p Rusty

Love, Congrats on 9 days! You need to find a hobby! Knitting, exercise, stress ball and writing in a journal can always keep your hands busy! Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
