Hardest Day Yet

TLS, my thought are with you and your son, my stepson is in the air force and he is doing his 3rd tour at Diego Garcia, its not quite Iraq, but we worry just the same. Keep the lozenges going they do work, as the gum and patches do as well. Don't be concerned with the quantity right now. You have plenty of time to quit those, just don't give up on your quit. God bless, dalooosh

tls You have amazing resolve. To keep your quit and suffer the strees is a marvelous and great achievment. Come to this site, post here often, read the stories and you will be able to shift your energy and your thoughts from a place that you don't want them to be to a place that is more centered on yourself and your journey. A more loving and kind place. Be well and I look forward to hearing from you. This has been one of the hardest days yet for cravings, I got the call at 1am this morning that my son was bording the bus that would start his deployment back to Iraq. I knew this was coming soon, but you are never ready for the phone call. I am using the lozenges and I was down to about 3 a day and today I have already used 5, but I have not smoked and I will not smoke. I do not post alot on this site but I am on it almost everyday reading what everyone is going thru and what everyone has accomplished and I have to say it has been so helpful, no one understands like the people on this site, I am so thankful I found this. Sorry for the long rambling, I am just having a hard time concentrating at work and I had to talk about how I'm feeling. Keep up the postings and I will keep reading and gaining support from all of you. tls, Welcome to the 30 day pit. It's a tough pit to get through, but you can and WILL get through this smoke free. Be careful though... this is where I had my first slip in July when I first quit smoking. You've made it almost 1 whole month!!! Congratulations! Ramble away!!! We're here to read and support you anytime and any way we can. Congratulations on 29 days! Go out and reward yourself for a job well done! You deserve a really great reward for all your hard work! Crave the Quit! A big "Thank You" to your son and everyone else's son, daughter, mother, father,... who serve to protect this great country of ours. Wow, and I was feeling sorry for myself for having a hard time today. I'm really impressed tls. If you can do it under those circumstances you can do anything. I admire your strength. Thanks for posting, it has put things into perspective for me today.
