Hi Can't believe it is 30 days! What helped me (and I know it is probably wrong thinking) is that every day I told myself that I probably will start smoking tomorrow, but today I will not smoke. My husband who quit more than 10 years ago told me that this helped him. He told himself this every day until the day came that he did not have to because he did not think about smoking anymore. Also this board helped me a lot. Evey time an urge hit, I would go to this board to either post or read. Anyway, for me it's ONE DAY AT A TIME. Thanks everybody. aLEXA My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/10/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 30 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 303 Amount Saved: $105 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 5 Mins: 17 Seconds: 19
