Yep, they're stupid, they kill, they're expensive, they make you sick, they cost a fortune, they make you stink, they shorten your life, they take away your time on earth & with your loved ones. Don't Smoke, and life will be GRAND ~ Hope you''re doing okay. Please dedicate the time time to be here for support of your quit - it's important. It's your life. Dear Farmer Boy Welcome Back to SSC! You should hang out for awhile until you get the demon under control. Also as far as bars and booze go......NO! Just from my experience.....I stayed away from the bars for a couple of months and I did not drink alcohol until I hit about 3 months. You can't let your guard down! (at least that was my take) I was not going to let that nicodemon catch me with my pants down......so to speak. The demon will take advantage anytime it can...when you are partying....going through a crisis. That is when people loose their quit. I personally have decided to do my best to learn from their mistakes!! Stay Strong Farmer Boy and Stay Close by. Hi, dont' have much time and don't know what to say. Just quit, yet again, and I hate smokes. My weak point is drinking. I love to drink (nope, not an alcoholic) but this is what makes it so hard for me to quit smoking. I've sworn to quit drinking for two months so that I can quit smoking. grrrrr, it seems so unfair; anyhow, hope that it works. bblater -farmer boy My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 39 Amount Saved: $7 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 8 Mins: 14 Seconds: 25

I remember you! Glad you're back to try again! Juar keep reading and posting here... that really does help. No, it's not fair... but life isn't fair. It's not fair that some people can smoke their whole lives and not get lung cancer, and then other people who have never ever smoked die a horrible tragic death from it! Life's not fair. If quitting drinking for a while is what you need to quit smoking, then do that! It's better to refrain temporarily from doing things that we enjoy than it is going back to smoking time and time again. Just hang around here, read and post, and you'll do fine. Welcome back! Crave the Quit!
