Funk I'm digN U (and Arwensmom your dog sounds cute) :) --- I have no doubt that "He who laughs, lasts." Obviously, "everyday" is not going to be a fun day. However, it is possible to find 'some humor' in almost any situation if we look hard enough. I'm proud for you two. Ya know, the crazy part of quitting is you can be laughing today and crying tomorrow. The great thing about having a support group is that it's OKAY either way. You can pour at your soul in here knowing we are not here to judge you. We are here to support you. Glad 2have ya here funk. Once it 'clicks' in your head quitting gets alot easier doesn't it? Stay focused on the bad days and you'll be fine. Once I got the worst of the withdrawals/depression behind me it felt like "being let out of prison" in many ways. I like NOT smoking. I don't feel deprived of anything. It's a huge weight off my shoulders. I have a young son and can relate to your emotion in that regard too. Again, I'm glad you found the place~welcome! ~all the best N2k My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/20/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 173 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,807 Amount Saved: $865 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 10 Mins: 10 Seconds: 39

Funk, That was a great post! Very encouraging and hopeful. I wish you the best success on your road to freedom! One day at a time... that's the only way to quit successfully. Congratulations on 15 days. Awesome job! Crave the Quit!
