I am so close to going out and buying a pack right now. Just today, 6 of my classmates started crying at how difficult our test is going to be tomorrow. the stress is getting to me, too. It is an immense IMMENSE amount of material. i'm not sure what smoking will do to make learning it all better...but I'm so tempted. I know that's the junkie talking but I feel like the junkie might be right this one time. IF I can just smoke and calm down a little bit, maybe I can focus better for a few hours. Phew phew phew phew. HELP! I don't want to do it!!! ARGHHHH!!!

Hey TimeToDoIt ! I would suggest just sitting down and starting your studying. drink some hot tea or munch on some hard candy.. or both.. It's just the habit of smoking cropping up.. don't change everything for one test.. there will be things that make you get cravings.. don't give in and they will go away. Hang Tuff.. smoking will not help you do better on this test.. nicodemon is just trying to fool you... He's a liar !!! ..and just think, IF you did have that smoke, and after you have put it out, you will feel WORSE than you feel now. You will still feel the same stress over the test AND you'll feel like a failure on top of that.... TimeToDoIt... smoking will not help you study better. Smoking doesn't make anything better. That is the junkie in you talking. Imagine for a second you did go get a pack and smoke just one.... ok.now are you going to be able to study. I don't think so! You are going to be beating yourself up for the rest of the night because you blew your quit that you have been working so hard for. You won't be able to sleep and you will be extremely depressed. Think about that for a minute. Is that really where you want to be? How about taking a few minutes and relaxing. Let some of the stress go. Maybe take a warm bath and then go back to the studying. Take one step at a time and just do the best you can do. No one can ask anything more than that of you. Break your work down into manageable pieces and keep your quit that way too. You can make it through stressful situations without smoking.
