Cuddles, What did you have last time that you are missing now? What was it about that quit that made it stick for over 90 days? You have to be committed to the quit. You have to want it more than you want to smoke. You have to have the determination to follow through on the decision that you have made to not smoke. I know that you have all of these things... I've seen them in you. This is what you wrote on day 14 of your last quit: "I am estatic about not smoking. I refuse to let nic back in because it is my life, not his. Positive thinking is the way to go." You had it exactly right. Get back that enthusiasm that you had about your quit the last time. Get back that positive attitude. I KNOW that you have it in you... I've seen it. So find that woman inside of yourself... I know she's still there, dying to come out! Dying to kick nic's butt! Cuddles, I know how hard it is to recover from a relapse. I also know that until you are willing to forgive yourself for your past mistakes and let the past go and concentrate on the future, then you will continue to fall. You HAVE to forgive yourself. Nobody here thinks you're a failure... not one... except possibly you. We so desperately want you to try again, but you have to want it first. I hope you do. Crave the Quit! Cuddles, Quitting is about making a personal commitment to yourself. You have done this before. First things first.. get rid of all the smokes and smoking "enablers", ashtrays, lighters, etc. Write down a list of all the good things about smoking (should be pretty short) and then a list of all the good things about quitting (should be pretty long). READ THEM OUTLOUD. Don't be afraid of quitting, be afraid of what life with be like if you continue to be a slave to a piece of dried plant material that gives off toxic fumes when burnt. Finally, get out of the pity pool. So you lost your other quit. Stuff happens. Regroup. Find out what happened and take corrective action. Above all else, LEARN FROM THIS. You will do this. We will help. Be Strong. Be Smart. Be Quit. Joe Knowledge Replaces Fear Illegitimus non carborundum est My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/15/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 246 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,160 Amount Saved: $602.7 Life Gained: Days: 43 Hrs: 2 Mins: 58 Seconds: 32

WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! GOOOOOO CUDDLES!!! You're doing so good! Keep up the good work :) U can do anything u want except smoke! I did alot of sleeping in the beginning just to help the time pass. I also stuck to this site like white on rice, LOL for about 3 months and off & on and still here, smoke-free :) I told myself I'd give it a year and if I still wanted to smoke so badly that I would start up again,,,but I had to give it a year. So I am :) Almost there too, woohooooooo!!! And I started a journal too and it's in here under "if u can do it so can I". It has helped me :) Everybody in here helps me to stay quit :) I also promised myself that before I would give up I have to come in here 1st and post for help...just a promise I made to myself. Like I said u can do anything else you want :) We're here with you & for you... No matter what don't lite up... Keep on keepin on... Hi Cuddles, I'm glad you're still here. Please do this: go back up to your list, and change all the "you" and "yours" to "me" and "my". Make this quit your own. Good luck...I know that you can do this! Rusty :)

Cuddles, Take it step by step. Have you started the program? Preparation is essential to your quit and it will help you get by those tough times. We are here for you, and will hold your hand, but you need to really want to do this. Take a look around and listen to advice of the members as well. They are the real experts.
