Good luck everyone. I have definitely been low, too (my girlfriend dumped me right around when I quit, too - that's been fun, NOT). I'm blaming the smokes... they've been keeping us down for a long time - I was depressed before I quit - now I think the clouds are starting to lift. It'll take a while since they've had ~20 years to amass. Yesterday was the first day since I quit that I just had a great feeling, that I was getting somewhere - maybe a glimmer at the end of the tunnel.
I've been taking yoga since I quit and I just started going to a counselor, just to talk about things. I think it helps - it's a distraction and I look forward to it. I try to plan my days full so I don't have too much idle time to worry about not succeeding.
it's the dang nicodemon taking you for a last ride through the muck. I think this is what they mean by tying a knot in the end of your rope and holding on. THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Hang tight.
Keep on keepin' on - fish
