Hi. I'm cori and this is my first full smoke free day. I was told by several people that the first 3 days were going to be hell. Little did I know they were the closest thing to right. I've only been smoke free for a day and I may be going nuts. Pretty sure of it. I have msn messenger under the name taemeiser_wagner. I would appreciate alll the help i can get. I am online almost all day so please dont hesitate to contact me at any givin time. I enjoy making new friends as well so give me a shout

Thank you doinit, (Risque nickname!) Sending you some energy for those first few days! I don't know how those of you in the early withdrawal stages are even managing to be so cordial! Sounds like your girls are lucky! Lynda

Hi Cori, (My son's name is Cory.) I think it the first three days of a Quit represent one of the braver, nobler things of our lives. One of the things that has gotten me to Day 41 is I don't want to go through even one of those beginning hours ever again! Don't worry - you'll be through them in no time! It really does get easier, bit by bit. Lynda

If you managed to lose a pound while quitting smoking then you are my hero! I tried dieting at when I first started quitting and decided I just wasn't one of those people who could attain perfection! I did download a quit meter from Why Quit, but I probably should do the one on this site too. Thank you for your warm welcome! Lynda

Hi redrosie! I'm running out of scratch friendly surfaces! And quitting smoking seems to have caused my fingernails to grow to a deadly length. Thats a weird side effect, isn't it? Lynda :confuse:

oops, doinit! I read Life Saved instead of Days Quit! And I thought I was out of the Quit Fog! At least after 15 days you are over the worst of it! Just keeps getting better! Lynda
