Other Addiction...

20 years ago 0 218 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I had a behavioural addiction before that I successfully quit and a drug related semi-addidction that I quit before it got too difficult to quit. Sometimes I get cravings, but it has been so long since I have done either, that these thoughts are ludicris and I laugh at them and dont act on them. This nicotine addiction though I belive will be harder because it was an everyday thing and everyone knew I smoked so it wasn't like I had to hide it. But I hope one day I can have thoughts like the ones I have about the other addictions Ive kicked one day. Cigarettes Not Smoked

Yes Ang. That's exactly what "cravings" are like later on. They're just "smoking thoughts" that come and go very quickly. It's not an "I'VE GOT TO HAVE A CIGARETTE NOW!" sort of feeling like it is in the first few weeks. Congrats on 10 days!!!! Crave the Quit!
