Hi, Paula. Welcome back. :) Don't think of past attempts as failures. Think of them as learning experiences. OK, I know finals are over, you're out of school, and probably want to take a break from learning. Tough! :p Seriously, have you looked at past attempts and determined why they didn't work? I know you had some real issues back then. Are they still issues? If so, have you come up with coping methods? I know the last few days are the scariest, and they get worse as the day approaches. Try focusing past that day to the time you're nic-free. You've been there before. Remember how good it felt and focus on that. Tell yourself, "That's where I'm headed and I will get there!" We'll be here for you. Just gotta holler. :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 344 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,898 Amount Saved: $1307.2 Life Gained: Days: 64 Hrs: 7 Mins: 11 Seconds: 18

Nice friend, lights up in YOUR house after you say you're quitting. I just can't even imagine it. I never smoked in my house, my wife is a non smoker and so are my kids... BUT, if I did smoke in my house, and had quit, I sure as hell would not have let my friend light up in front of me, in my house. As a matter of fact, when he tried I might have had a whole lot to say and I probably would have shown him the door pretty damn quick. I may not even have opened it before I threw him through it. I can't understand why you allowed it. Good luck on your next try.
