I agree with what your saying completely. I am quite disappointed that my hubby hasnt quit yet but it's no reason to let it bother me so much. I think alot of this anger I have had lately had to do with me working out my issue of the quit without my huband possiblity. I decided that I was out to make improvements to MY life therefore they shouldn't be based on someone else. He will quit on his own eventually, I do believe he will quit one day...ok I really hope! I am excited to tell people my stats whether they asked for them or not! ;p I do talk alot about not smoking and the benefits and just blah blah blah...etc...but my husband will probably not wish to speak of it either. It really does feel good to stop and look back at how far you have come and that YOU are the one with that strengh!!! I wouldn't like someone giving my credit to someone else so why would I put the blame elsewhere? Newayz...Great Post!

Great post Katy.
This quit is the greatest thing I ever did for myself as well. Each of us are individuals and each of us must do things our own way.
Like I always say, we all have opinions and if asked will share them. Take what you want and leave the rest. The only thing that really matters is that we do not smoke.

Good rant Katy! I think it's important to note that each quit IS different. Sometimes, I think we forget that and don't realize that what worked for us may not work for another. Thanks for this post.
Crave the Quit!

Katy,
That was a great "rant"!! How you dealt with your friend who relapsed was awesome. You had to back off from "his" quit. That is great advice!
Keep kickin' ASH!
