Lady, Your integrity speaks for itself, you posess one of the highest intergrity's I know ;) You are one of the people I always read when I feel a crave come on. And I know how you feel too. When I walk by the smokers at work I have to intentionally hold my breath until I am clear of the smog section...hard to believe that was me in that section just a few weeks back, and watching others walk by quickly while holding their breath. I could see it on their faces, the distaste they were experiencing. You didn't even come close to slipping- what was it that you said to me the other night? That's right and guess what? You did not smoke, PERIOD. You also had no control over the second hand coming your way, and like some of the other folks here have said before me, you passed yet another test on this incredible smokeless journey. And you are way too hard on yourself girl. We are all human and even though we may be wise to 'nic's tricks' we are also dealing with an insatiable addiction that has one of the tightest grips on humanity! So hang in there and keep your chin up becuse N.O.P.E. you didn't smoke. And you're not gonna, either, You've come too far and you're way too good to let a little thing like a cig come between you and the beautiful life you have ;) Bless your heart Lady! Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 183 Amount Saved: $66 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 22 Mins: 19 Seconds: 50

Lady, You have not cheated in any way. Its not against the law to breath. I get my fill of second hand smoke every wednesday night at the bowling alley. That doesn't mean im smoking. Some nights it smells good and I seem to try to smell it. Other nights it just stinks and I can't wait to get out of the building. Just because I have chose to stop smoking doesn't mean I stop living. We are all put in those situations at times when we are going to be around smokers. I think we all get put into these situations to test how strong we all really are. You are one of the strongest here on SSC. You are an inspiration to many of us. We also know you are human. Just another test that you have passed. Hugs to you. As i have said on a previous thread...NEVER be so smug on your quit. Lady...as far as I'm concerned...most peeps inhaled second hand smoke on purpose at one point in their quit (note i said MOST). I admire you for admitting to it. I'm very proud of you for not giving in. Now, go and get that reward for yourself....and if it happens to be chocolate (yummy!) will you grab some for me too? hehehe

Hi Lady, Being around other smokerss - you know this is going to happen. Let's say you were unable to get off that deck for some reason - were you supposed to hold your breath? There are times that we will not be able to escape the second hand smoke of smokers. It's an environmental circumstance! Everybody who smokes must go outside and smoke now. They congregate in doorways of buildings, in the backyards at BBQ's and in front of restaurants and outside of train stations. They are everywhere Lady, you did not put a cigarette in your mouth, because you don't smoke. A lot of people in this world still do and we have to live with it. We can try to avoid it, but it will not always work. You walked away, and you walked away a non smoker. That's what matters. OMG Lady... Your such a silly Lady sometimes. You know, I give my wife extra kisses now... just so I can still taste the smoke. Sometimes it's soooooo good, sometimes it's like a dirty ashtray. Thanks for pointing out the dangers out there! And thanks for all your help as well. And We Love You Too!!!!!!!! N.O.P.E.
