Dreamer...stick around, it's early yet...ONE HOUR AT A TIME! YOU CAN DO IT! JUST KEEP POSTING POSTING POSTING!!!! We are here to help you! I've noticed since my decision to quit I smoke a whole lot less when I am typing at the computer. Kinda hard to smoke and type at the same time. A hint if you didn't know this already: Drink lots of Cranberry juice the first 72 hours!! Don't skip meals. Have 'healthy' snacks throughout the day! You're doing it! Just keep up the good work! Sleep as much as you can and find what will get you thru the craves. Deep breathing works for me. Try it. Ok Dreamer The craves are a hitting you but you can do this!! Hang tight and remember why you started this. You no longer want to be a slave to a cigarette and until you give them up you are. They control your life and what you do in that life. Take back your life. Keep the quit vicki just 1 puff away from 2 packs a day My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 94 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,780 Amount Saved: $658 Life Gained: Days: 12 Hrs: 20 Mins: 28 Seconds: 52

Hi, Dreamer. Day 1 is rough, isn't it. Days 2 and 3 are going to be, too, I won't lie to you. But you can do this. First you have to get through the physical withdrawal from the nicotine. Whatever you have to do, drink water, eat food, make love (read your other thread :)), then do it for as long as you need to. Any water-logging, weight gain, or wear and tear can be fixed later. Right now you must focus on getting through the first 3 days. It does get easier, Dreamer. And it hasn't really been 3 months since you quit yesterday, regardless of how it feels. :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 241 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,830 Amount Saved: $915.8 Life Gained: Days: 45 Hrs: 0 Mins: 40 Seconds: 55
