Breakers Monday Roll Call

18 years ago 0 105 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Good Morning, Breakers! Happy to say I made it through the 30 day mark without any trouble. I kept waiting for the big cravings or depression to hit, but so far there hasn't been anything but the normal level of craving. I still want a cigarette every day, but it's like a voice that I hear....and that voice isn't as loud as it was at the beginning. I am just hoping that one day I won't hear that voice at all, if I simply can keep moving forward and string enough smoke-free days together. Congratulations to Aunt Sissy and Lucy on your 30 day marks and to the other breakers who have hit an awesome 50 days! I didn't give myself a big 30 day reward. I spent the weekend studying. I'll have to work on coming up with a fitting gift to myself for making it this far. Hope all of you have a wonderful and a crave-free day. Luci- not sure what I'm gonna do for myself this time, worked 6 days last week and am still trying to recoup. Didn't go in last night, been pretty lazy. Guess that could be my reward, to do nothing!! Glad you decided on doing the facial. You deserve it. I keep thinking I will get my nose pierced. I had it done once before with a tiny diamond and it grew shut. I keep talking myself out of it though. Maybe this weekend, if we only work 5 days. smokefree2- I'm gonna go to the doctor this afternoon about my mad thing. I think I need something to help sooth this whole thing, maybe cold turky wasn't the best way to do this. To go from 2 packs a day to 0. I have been getting really mad too and real anxious. I just feel like I need knocked down a couple notches, feel a little high stung. I don't know what I'll find out but I'll let you guys know. I still have no desire to smoke, still ok there. Just my mental attitude, I am mad and mean. And that is just not me for the most part. Post later.. Good morning Breakers and SSC group. Happy Monday to all. I hope to see Lori, Luci-Lou, Bill, Penguin & Brent1. at this post and to hear how they did over the weekend. Wasn't there somebody else who wanted to join the breakers? My goal this week is to stop arguing and been mad in general. I guess I have taken my significant boyfriend to the edge of his patience and good humor over the weekend, and cannot do that again. I did not even realize that I was doing it at the time. He smokes, so we have some more adjusting to do before we are both comfortable for this change. Any ideas on how to cope without getting mad? I sure am cranky. Aunt Sissy, thanks for the post and for noticing that I can be at Beach along with Bill. How exiciing! I can't wait to meet that goal. Rest assured, I will have the cool and refreshing drinks ready for you guys as soon as you land. Breakers rock and rule.
