Ang,
You just figured out the secret of junkie talk... we said it to ourselves when we smoked and we say it to ourselves now to rationalize throwing away our quits. Smoking actually creates MORE stress on ourselves because it raises our blood pressure and creates more stress on our bodies, but we all told ourselves that smoking makes us calmer. If you can tell yourself that that's just the junkie talking and that the REAL you wants to stay quit, then you will definitely have a successful quit. It's often useful to come up with a list of your "junkie talk" and come up with ways to combat that when you're craving. Good job fighting off that junkie!
Crave the Quit!
