ang, Wierd that we can dream like this when we quit smoking. The main thing to remember is that it is only a dream. Stay focused on the goal. And keep this quit. You are doing great! Take Care, Melanie __________________ The SSC Support Team

Hey Ang- Another February quitter here, doing just fine. I've heard several people talk about the dream thing but that's something I have not personally experienced yet. My husband and I do volunteer work with a youth organization. In the past I always made sure to get in that last cigarette just before we would leave the house, knowing it could be a few hours before we either get back or I could sneak away from the group to get a few puffs. Last weekend we had an outing with this group and just before we left, I found myself thinking "go have that last smoke before you go". That was immediatly followed by a more concious thought of NO, that's not necessary, you are not a smoker anymore. I do find it amazing how are own minds can play such games with itself. Hey everyone, Still smoke-free. Had a weird dream last night. my aunt was in the dream (she smokes) and gave me a cigarette and lit it for me i put it to my lips than was like, "Wait a minute, I don't smoke!!" and I said "I can't smoke this aunt!!! I quit!" How could I forget!??? Glad it was a dream!!!! I am not craving at all, I am very happy with myself. Don't have anything else to say but..... How are my other Febuary quitters doing? P.S: I made a mistake on my quit meter I actually quit January 31st, well thats when I had my last cigarette, should i change it or just leave it? Either way I am still a Febuary quitter!!!! Sorry to hear that having some difficulty oinkoink2u. If you keep up a good attitude though things will get better! it seems as though you have that positive attitude saying your convinced that you can do it. We never unintentionaly put a cigarette in our mouth as long as we remeber the control we have we can feel more positive about our quit. Plus I feel that a million billion things could replace smoking in EVERY situation with all those options why choose the most lethal idle one? Good luck to all!!!! I've had quite a few smoking dreams but not any for awhile now. I remember someone saying that if you have them, it means that you're in your forever quit. I don't know how true that is but I'm coming up on my year now. And also, coming up on 10 yrs sober in April & I still have drinking dreams from time to time. It's such a gift everytime when you wake up and realize...IT WAS ONLY A DREAM, lol. Keep up the gr8 work!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! No matter what don't lite up... Keep on keepin on...
