A get together... Here we go again!!!!!!! Joyfull have you fogotten that you owe me a night out in Atlanta? When is it going to be????? I'll meet you there, you just say when. This get together thing is awesome.. Rusty and I did meet at a Aviation Museum in Warner Robins, GA. It was so cool. She is an awesome quitter and we had a great time. I too would like to meet other quitters. We should probably discuss this on the NOPE site. Each time it comes up I'm game. I love a good road trip. 3 day weekends work for me and I would love to meet everyone. Cherie, we kind of kicked this around a while back. That was actually why the y group was formed. Unfortunately, too many people are scattered over too wide of an area and not enough able to travel across country (let alone international). Then it devolved to having two groups one east and one west, but it seems most of the people are in the eastern half of North America, and then the whole discussion sort of died. The only two that I know met up were Rusty and Lady. Personally, I'd love to meet everyone, or anyone. But the Midwest/central US area would be about as far as I could go. I'd be driving and 2 weeks is about the longest I can realistically take off work. Southern east coast would be doable, but not enjoyable. I love this idea. I loved it as I have met many of my online bridge partners. Unfortunately, it takes them either coming way north to Washington, or them living somewhere where I am passing through anyway. Unless it was in the Northwest, I don't usually have the time or money to make this idea a reality. PS I love how Ann lives on. Ok all my smoke-free friends :) When I played spades on the msn zone I met about 18 people off that site. We'd get together in person and have parties playing spades :) This past year has enabled me to meet all u special people and I'd really like to meet! I'm thinking we pick a place and a date and just do it. I don't know where or when but I'd really like to see it happen. So there...I've planted the seed! Let's make it grow!?! :) Hugs to all my smoke-free friends! Idea's anyone?

Hello Joyfulspirit, I would reccomend it most highly in having a reunion, I am from Oklahoma, and only last year had a small reunion with two of my smoke-free Friends at a nice restaurant in Heneryetta, Oklahoma, and will never forget it as long as I live,After You go through thick and thin to quit this addiction, and knowing each Other for the past 2 or 3 years on this website, What a thrill it is to meet each other in Person, We Hug each other, had a nice luncheon together, exchanged gifts, had a cake with one big candle on it, and it was really fun and enjoyable to say the least, Also, camera's were flashing, Well Joy, Its happening again this coming Monday afternoon at 1;00 p,m, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Three of Us are having a get-together at the Cracker Barrell restaurant, one of my Friends is coming all the way from Winston, Oregon, You might know Her as Tresa, My other friend is Tobyfan, But my opinion, ''Go For It,'' Remember the song, ''One Moment In Time,'' by Whitney Houston, that's what its all about, Memories that last a lifetime, I didn't mean to make this so long, but after quitting smoking, Its like putting icening on the cake, Take care, Enjoy Your journey, Smokless In Oklahoma
