Just looking for a place where I can say it out loud, and this is as close as I can get to my friends. Having a really bad night and for the first time in ages have really considered giving up on this quit. Doesn't that depress you? Does me. Don't know if it is all the bad news today, the weather, the war, hormones, life in general, or something else. Been tossing off this crave since around 4 this afternoon. Still comming around. Pretty sure I won't smoke so don't get to freaked. Mostly just causing alot of emotions, loss of patience, anger, sadness. Most likely a combination of the heat, and the county doing road work on the road out of my house. They have been doing it since the end of May and don't plan on being done until the end of August. So any time I want to leave my house, I have to drive to the end of the road and wait for the pilot car to show up. They can't keep on schedule, so never know how long I will have to wait. Today was 40 minutes. Makes me feel like a little kid who can't go across the street alone. Running into alot of little kid treatment. Think that I will wrap up in a blanket, and go sit in a lawn chair and watch the sky. Always helps to focus on how unimportant these little things are in the big picture. I'm sure this mood will move on, so thanks for letting me blow off here. Still wanting that cig though. Sorry! Shevie, Hummy, et al., As you have probably have noticed, I rarely post in The VIP Club, or any other club. I don't know why.. I guess I'm just not as good of a bs'er as you guys.. ;p I have been playing a lot of golf lately, making up for the miserable Spring we had here in Louisville. I got in 54 holes last weekend. Looking forward to the same this weekend. Bob, the 500 Club sounds like a cool place! I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like there are newbies and veterans here.. nothing in between. Perhaps my sense of perception is skewed these days since I've past the 1 year mark and things are going good with my quit. It just seems that since the SSC put the Intro forum first, all the newbies stay there and very few veterans do any posting there. There is almost a dichotomy between the forums. It's like all the vet's are down in the "old" forum and all the newbies are left to fend for themselves up in the Intro forum. I don't know.. I feel the same way, Hummy. Constantly moving. Sure beats the alternative, though. :) I do notice they seem to happen more frequently. Is this another "quit time warp", or just age acceleration? Uh oh - I think i am in trubble. I overslept. Rafted too long, slept too late. And here are Lady and Cheryl yukking it up without me, and Hummy our new hostess with a new chocolate lab who would LOVE to play with my golden Luna and even Moody back for a visit. I even missed the fireworks show that Shevie put on - thankfully he posted the pics. Even MD was here whom I haven't seen since he danced with me for my inaugural ball. Don't like Duffis leaving though - pant pant - can't I EVER catch up to him??? It's like age...once yer older yer always older.
