Cool fireworks Shevie! Lady, I think Lunas here, too. Did you see the rafting photo? Looked like grand fun. We went to pick out a new puppy this week. Will get a chocolate lab in 14 weeks and cant wait. Theyre so adorable. AND, I don't have to feel guilty about smoke in the house! Enjoy the weekend everyone.

This is definitely a weird day for the SSC. Can honestly say that I NEVER thought Id see the post Joyful wrote today. Shes such a great person, and I hate to think of her smoking. Shell be back. Shes a winner. Lady, thats wonderful about your job. So much has happened in your life this year so many successes. Oh, and about the Josephone Wall painting lessons shes not one of my favs, so well have to come up with another plan LOL. Her colors are so odd. You must like fantasy. Im more in tune with Susan Harrison-Tustain. Look her up. Shes in New Zealand. Hi Shirl, welcome to the VIP! Sure hope youre feeling better soon. Luna! Soooo glad youre back. The rafting photo looked like great fun. Rusty, have a good trip. Your words are very wise. Thanks. Take care everyone. Welcome Shirl! Lady, I'm sad, too, about Cherie, but just like with our children, we have to allow those close to us to live their lives and make their own choices. Let's lift her up in our thoughts and I'll be she'll be back soon. :) I'm on the road ...checking in real quick to say hello. A couple of thoughts and wonderings. Why do we go into a tailspin when someone loses their quit? Why does that threaten our own quit and make us wonder if it is worth it? I really don't know the answer. But I can say this. I am secure in my quit. Just as in the beginning, I OWN IT. IT IS MINE. No person, thing or circumstance will ever take it away from me. I hope this doesn't sound rude...I don't mean it to be. But perhaps we are feeling sad and that junkie that still hangs around the edges is saying "hmmm...if THAT person lost their quit...what's the big deal? You can have a smoke to deal with your sadness. A smoke will make you feel better..." DON'T...I repeat DON'T let that junkie in. Feel sad. But don't feel weak and vulnerable. I guess I'm calling it stinkin' thinkin! LOL Luna, I've been downstate for a few days teaching a class. Not on crutches anymore, but still hobbling a bit. AND, LADY, I am so thrilled for you!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) Rusty :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/13/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 585 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 16,396 Amount Saved: $2047.5 Life Gained: Days: 80 Hrs: 13 Mins: 17 Seconds: 51
