Arwensmom, Sounds like you are giving in, throwing in the towel. Quitting smoking isn't easy, who ever said it is, is wrong. If you truly want a healthier life, then you will keep the commitment you've made to yourself, your family, your friends and this support group. You have come way too far to just give up now!!! Do you really think that smoking makes you 'happier'? I don't. Do not give up now. You need to stay strong and succeed! Don't be a quitter on quitting. Take Care, Melanie _________________ The SSC Support Team

wow the old habit is much cheaper in your area than mine - see we were both on 30 a day!! Y U K sounds disgusting to think that we'd have smoked 650 cigs in the time that we have smoked 0! I didnt think like that when i was addicted!

I quit Jan 30. I'm having second thoughts. I don't have cravings very often, but when I do they are killer. Not only that, but I'm just not very happy as a non-smoker. I did this before. I quit smoking for three years and just was never very happy as a nonsmoker. After three years I started smoking again and that was almost 20 years ago. The only reason I did that was because I just wasn't very happy. Now the whole situation has changed. There are few if any public places where smoking is allowed. I'm hoping that will help.
