Hi everyone thanks for your replies, i snipped them nasties up into little pieces and chucked them in the bin last night. I have got through day 1 which was not too bad and am ready for what day 2 has to throw at me, i so want to get my quit meter back up where it should be. im trying to think up a good motto so bear with me while i practice. look to the future not the past My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: 0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Hi everyone Bambi here. It will be day 1 for me tommorrow, i am feeling a little nervous but at the same time quite exited. I am eager to get back to not having to smoke again after i ruined my last 48 day quit. I have learnt from that mistake though and i will think long and hard about going back to smoking when i feel that i am weakening. I have been reading posts and have got myself well and truly motivated all that is left to do is throw any cigs i have left and stick on a patch before i go to bed. So here goes, wish me luck My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 0 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 0 Amount Saved: 0 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 0 Mins: 0 Seconds: 0

Hi Bambi, don't just throw away those cigs...make a ritual of saying a final goodbye to them. Stomp them, grind them, drown them. And make sure you stay close by here, because you know you'll get the support you need from fellow-quitters. Good luck!
