I kick my self in the a** every time I look at my new stats. Why did I let it happen. Starting over sucks. Wish I would have stayed quit but I didnt. I must try harder and if you are new to this site dont block out your quit and dont give yourself a reason to quit being a quitter. I was almost to a hundred days quit and now I have to start over. Well its time to stop feeling sorry for my self and time to move on to a much better quit. Cuddles....do you have any idea how many people slip and never come back to quit again? How many slips last for months or years instead of hours or a day or two? Do you know how many smokers there are right now that would love to have your stats? You are so fotunate. You quit again. You didn't let the nicodemon win. You are in control. You choose to win. You are a quitter and an Awesome one at that! You know what it takes to quit and here you are ready, willing and able to do it. You are fighting for this quit and it is worth every second of agony you experience. Your life is worth fight. Keep going. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 193 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,878 Amount Saved: $675.5 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 2 Mins: 9 Seconds: 15

Also Cuddles, read this... especially Ladybugg's story. It is one of the best, most heart warming stories I've ever read and it definitely encouraged me to continue on in my quit. Today would have been 90 days for me Just get back up and keep going. I'm so proud of you for coming back and trying again. I really am. You WILL succeed... I just know it. Crave the Quit! Cuddles, Been there, done that. Did it at 132 days, so I know EXACTLY what you're going through!!!!!! Trust me, I do! It sucks, but look at this as a chance for a new start. Don't look at what you've lost but at what you gained... you have learned a lesson (I hope) and with that knowledge, you can defend yourself the next time you are in a similar situation. Just remember how this feels... it sucks to lose your quit and it sucks to have to start over, but you now have the opportunity to pass your wisdom on to the newer quitters by joining the Ash Kickers (which is what I did with the Jokers, by the way) and they can learn a lot from your wisdom and advice because you've been there and you know what's going to happen and you can be a beacon of light for them. All is not lost Cuddles... know that and understand that. Like Bubba said to me after I reset my meter 74 days ago... "A meter is a meter is a meter is a meter........" Please don't beat yourself up about this anymore. You HAVE to get back up and move forward. Best wishes in your new journey. Crave the Quit! Cuddles....you must stop this at once.....the addiction simply loves it if you take up a negative line of thinking...and this is what this is.....negative thinking. Get your mind off the slip up. It does NOT negate all the days you quit smoking....you still didn't smoke ALL those days. You stumbled and fell....now you are back up and running.....you must now concentrate on what is "ahead"....not what is over. The only import a slip should hold is to let you see how to better plan for whatever allowed you to cave. I don't know how long or signifigant your slip up was, but if you are NOW not smoking.....then THAT is all that is of import. Don't let yourself think about the slip....to do so is to dwell on smoking.(sometimes we don't realize that) and what you must do is dwell on NOT smoking.... These new stats are on TOP of your old stats. Get happy about THAT! You are back on the road to recovery. Be sure to REWARD yourself and quit with the punishment. Quitting is what rocks and that is what you are doing!!!! Katy Kickin' ASH for......Four years, six days, 13 hours, 23 minutes and 48 seconds. 58702 cigarettes not smoked, saving $8,365.08. Life saved: 29 weeks, 19 hours, 50 minutes.
