well my doctor told me that smoking is far worse for me than having uncontrollable orgasims and gave me some medication/ointment stuff that is suppose to make that area numb, I just got it today, i hope it works I cant stay at home any longer, i'm going crazy...I need to socialize...lol Thanks for all the advice and for letting me know I'm not alone with this problem, it really helps knowing i'm not the only one to have the strange withdrawl symptom

Thanks alot, good to hear it's happened to someone else too, thought i was turning into some kind of freak, I havnt smoked since this afternoon, not even craving one, so hopefully those couple smokes didnt get me back into craving them, I even talked my mom into letting me stay home from school the rest of the week so hopefully these "episodes" will stop by next week...although I have to admit, of all the withdrawl syptoms to get, this is a pretty good one, I'd just rather not be in public when it happens, lol, anyways, thanks for all the advice everyone, g'night.

I dont really want to discuss this in an open forum but since we are pretty much "secret"...this is kind of embarassing...the last two weeks or so of my quit...i'm really "excited" all the time...if you know what I mean...I've always been easily "excitable" but the last 3 or 4 days my "excitment" is kind of...climaxing all by itself...as i've mentioned on another thread I smoked 3 cigarettes today because I got so "happy" it was noticable to just about anybody with ears and eyes...and very embarassing as you can imagine...has anyone here ever experienced the same thing??? I'm thinking of getting a doctors appointment...but thats kind of embarssing too

I experienced that, also, when I quit cold-turkey. Maybe not as stongly... I had boundless energy, too. If I slipped a smoke I lost that energy for four solid hours before it came back. Funny, this afternoon I was pondering why this quit is different. Hmm.... This time I'm quitting with gum. I can't help but think that this phenomena that we're discussing is mostly due to the nic. When I go too long between my "magic gum" I start feeling like my energy is building. Looking to the future..... gpw My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 267 Amount Saved: $68 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 15 Mins: 32 Seconds: 59

Hmmm can't say that has happened to me although if you mean what i think you mean i'm sure my husband wouldn't have any complaints!!!! If it's a big concern to you then mabey you should see your doctor. You shouldn't be embarrassed to discuss that with your doctor, i'm sure he or she has heard it all!! Good luck and stay smoke free!!! We actually had a thread about this a long time ago... I'd rather not bump it, but it's called Ladies Only. We figured out that smoking pacified many of our feelings... for instance, a lot of people say that they are meaner or angrier after quitting and I think likewise, smoking also keeps you in balance in a lot of different areas. This may be one of them. I will tell you that you're not alone. If you read that thread, there were many women who experienced similar things. Hope that helps. Crave the Quit!
