Hi everyone! I'm Rainne. I'm 20 years old and I currently reside in New Hampshire, US. I've been smoking for 6.5 years! :mad: Recently I began having all these daydreams about what it would be like to not smoke. I thought that was strange, but even stranger when they continued for over a month. My boyfriend and roomate both quit over a month ago, so I have been the only smoker in the house, and it started to be really uncomfortable for me. The other day I started budgeting for a new car, and realized that I could save half the car payment every month if I didn't smoke. So, I bought the patch. I got psyched. And I decided to go for it! I have been smoke free for 1 whole day! Yay for me! I hope to learn a lot here, and make friends too! Thank you all, and it's nice to meet you! Thank you both! I see 16 days and 28 days. That's great! I can't wait until I'm in the double digits lol. Actually my big day will be next week when I see my Mom, and see if she notices the patch on me. I haven't told anyone oustide of my boyfriend. I know that I'll be able to get support from my non-smoking friends, and here too!
