Way to go! You definately need to reward yourself for this achievement. You know, there are a lot of inexpensive rewards. New book, New slippers, Smoothie, or Starbucks, Magazine subscription, Manicure, Pedicure, Rent a new movie There are also many free ones too. Spend a few hours and watch a movie, give yourself a manicure, give yourself a pedicure, go to the library and get a book, take a walk on the beach (my favorite!!) Point being, even though you have had it less intense as some others, there is still room for rewards. You really do need them. Regardless of how your quit is. You are doing great! Keep it up! Thanks everyone! I really didn't even see this milestone hit me... and I really don't feel like I really need a reward, b/c being able to take my daily hour long walks is a reward, playing with my 4 yr old lil girl every day without getting tired as fast is my reward, not stinking, breathing easier, and getting healthier is my reward.... I'm loving life more, that is my reward.... I feel that each day, NOT SMOKING IS my reward.... and I don't think I could be more happier about it... I'm finally doing what I said I would do 7 yrs ago, just a couple yrs after I started smoking, and what I said I would do 6 yrs ago... and what I did for a while 5 yrs ago, and what I said I would do 4,3,2,1 yrs and 6 mos ago... I'm finally doing it.. and not caring that I don't smoke... I haven't just quit smoking... I've stopped wanting to smoke entirely... I've stopped caring that I used to smoke, and that I don't anymore.... but I've STARTED CARING, about my health, and my family's health.... and I've started being a poster child in my family about how easy it can be if you just let it and accept it... I've had two cousins start to quit the past couple of weeks and I just found out today, they didn't want to tell me and then not stick to it two days later lol... my dad's cut back significantly... I'm not pressuring anyone, they just see a light in me, and see the possiblities... my best reward, will be when my bf completely quits instead of playing this game he is, and I live in a smoke free environment... my next best reward, well it won't come for about another 15 yrs and it would be that my daughter doesn't pick up the habit, b/c she knows what I went through... And my only wish, would be that it would be this easy and enjoyable for everyone! *hugs* everyone.. done rambling now LOL My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/31/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 32 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 714 Amount Saved: $104 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 5 Mins: 26 Seconds: 41

Thanks! I'm really not rewarding myself much since I really don't have any money, and yes even without smoking all that I've supposedly saved has just gone toward bills and food lol.. I really just haven't even thought about it for several days, it just never occured to me lol... but this time I think I'll reward myself this weekend.. I started a diet about the same time, and I've been doing well and sticking to it all pretty well... and I think I'll reward myself with an "ignore my diet day" lol... as for getting in here more often.. I'll try I guess lol.. I've just been very busy, and not having any sorts of urges/cravings this whole time really doesn't make me feel like I have much to contribute, or advice or anything for anyone else... except that you just really have to be ready to let that part of your life go.. oh and btw.. my bf's decided to quit, but doesn't want my help LOL.. he's on that continuous quit cycle where every day he goes, okies this is it, and then he gets to a point where he just gives in too easily.. lmao... and he just doesn't get it, but at the same time, says "hey I'm doing better than I used to be" but that's b/c they're not available as much b/c he's just getting them from other ppl lol... but I figure, when he's ready, he'll just let it go, he's just gotta stop fighting himself lol... on 1 month MystikPamala - You go girl Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit......
