Welcome Emmaxt,

I am so sorry to read that you have been feeling this way for so long. This program will teach you important cognitive behaviour therapy skills. I encourage you to get started soon. As you have been diagnosed with severe depression I also recommend speaking with a counselor and even working with a counselor on the content of this site. Getting as many resources and sources of support you can gather now will help you in your recovery. I look forward to reading more about your journey.

Hi Everyone, I was recently told about LifeWorks but didn't know how or when I should go about getting started. I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety when I was 13 but have had it since I was young. I'm the only one in my immediate family with either and it's difficult to talk about with anyone. I'm only 22 and still unsure as to how I can cope. I'm really not sure what to do most of the time, it makes working very hard and leaving my house harder. There are times where I can go days feeling like I'm on the verge of tears, that choked up feeling is awful when it won't go away. What makes it worse for me is I have nothing to be sad about but I can't seem to feel happy, even when I laugh it doesn't feel real.
