Hi Kat,

Welcome to the group. Thank you for sharing a bit about what you are going through. It sounds like you have had to deal with a lot of difficult challenges. It says a lot that despite everything you are still trying to get well. It sounds like you have a lot more strength then you realize.

I think you will find this program helpful. Be sure to complete all the homework and take notes on each section. Each section can take about a week to complete but you can take longer if you prefer. The program you will be using does not allow you to go back and review sections so be sure to take notes on points you want to remember. Have you had a chance to get started yet? Any questions so far? Are there any interesting points you have read that you find to be helpful?

Just saying hello. I've had symptoms of anxiety since I was a teen. It improved when I started college and has since gotten worse now that I have graduated. I am coming to terms with having depression; it was suggested to me at a drop in therapy clinic that I may be in grief over loss of identity. That sounds about right.

There have been plenty of triggering moments over the past two years: parental with cancer, financial and family pressures, increased threats of disownment, unable to get a job I am trained for, feelings of being worthless that hit out of nowhere, on and on it goes. I imagine some can relate.

I figured this was worth a try.
