Welcome Puppy,

I am sorry to hear about this. I can only imagine what you might be feeling right now. I am also amazed by your strength to come and look for support during this time. Have you received any treatment for depression in the past? If so, what have you tried?

This program is based on cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). CBT is the gold standard treatment for mood disorders. Start with session one and take about a week to work on each session. Complete the homework and post in the support group often. You are not alone in this - we will help you every step of the way. You deserve to feel happy again.

How are you feeling today?

I have been struggling with depression since childhood. Now a woman in my late twenties, I have just recently been unwillingly ejected from the first relationship in my life that was genuine.

I have realized the issues were my own. My unhappiness made him unhappy. Now, having lost the one person that kept me going, I need to find a new way to live. For myself, and maybe, in time, to earn back the man I love more than anything in the world.

I am struggling, and I could really use some support, and suggestions for how to cope. Yesterday was a wake-up call. But now that I am awake, I have no idea where to start.
