Welcome Dave,

So sorry to hear about all  you have had to go through. Please know that feeling down because of  all you have lost is normal. Mourning a relationship takes time. Sometimes allowing ourselves to feel these emotions, processing them - not fueling can help you through this. If you haven't already do some searches for some information on Mindfullness in order to feel the REAL emotions behind everything you are going through. Trying to change emotions that are meant to be there  can be counter productive. That being said you can still work on the program and post here. If you have had depression for much of your life there is likely some good work you can do here. Just remember sometimes we are meant to feel pain - it is a part of the richness of being human.

How are you doing today?

Hi Everyone, just joined. I have Probably been suffering from depression for most of my life, had a breakdown about 10 years ago but did not do enough about it at the time, moved to Bulgaria and had a small hotel built 7 years ago, have been masking symptoms with alcohol since I don't know when, started drinking too heavily maybe 3 years ago, sought help and stopped over the last 6 months, my wife was unsupportive and finally left me a month ago, hit bottom then, in the last 6 months I have gone from having a good business, marriage, and a great lifestyle to total fear and hopelessness, but I am working hard to get better, let the future commence.
