Thanks. The major factor in ending all  three depressive episodes was medication, although it took quite a long time for it to work. yes, I've learned a lot through the experience, but I hope I never have to go through an episode like that again.

I'm Lisa. I'm a wife, mom, homemaker. I have a wonderful husband and 3 little girls. I live near Roanoke, Virginia,  which is a beautiful and relaxed place to live. I've had 3 episodes of major depression - one at age 18, one at 29 and one at 34. Currently I feel good, and have been episode-free for over 3 years. I greatly fear having another episode so I really want to learn more about MDD and interact with people who've had/have it. thanks for the support already received!
