screwed - 8 years is a long time. you're depressed - plain and simple. it's a spectrum from mild to severe. if you're drinking away your blues - stop! only makes a bad situation worse. do you have family/anyone to talk to? your feelings are understandable. you have alot of thinking to do! decent start - stick around. we know how you feel

Well for starters... I'm an English guy in a French province so finding a job thats not drug dealing or telemarketing is impossible. I've gotta decent education (BA) but its useless here; french kids with a high school diplomas find better jobs than I can. Then again, even if I could find a job, I have pretty much no direction... no clue as to what I want to do and barely any motivation. I live on my own and the gf of 8 years took off a few months back...

That enough for a decent start? I know its a friggen joke compared to a lot of people's problems but it still sucks ass to be me lol

Hello Royallyscrewed,

Welcome to our support centre. You have reached the right place for lots of great advice, support and encouragement.

Please do review the program and commence the exercises. They do require some effort on your part but will prove to be very rewarding as you will also learn a lot about yourself.

Hope to hear back from you soon with more details on your current situation.

Good luck,

I hope you don't mind the nickname Roy, because I can't remember all that from when I read it to here!  I like the pic too.  Let the healing begin maybe mild sarcasm, but it's also the truth....it's time to start and I think you've found a great place.  I am not too much into organized religion, but find my spirituality to be a great asset in the healing process.  Hey, I can use all the tools I can get!  And that one helps me too.  I would like to hear more about you as well!  I hope you stick around and use the program. ....and the healing does begin!

HJst wanted to say hi to everyone.
I'm looking for some hope and direction in dealing with a rough patch that has lasted far too long. I dunno how much I'll get outta this all but figured I'd give it a shot... it was this or organized religion lol...Life's just gotta get better but I'll be damned if I know when or where or how that'll happen...

anyway... lets let the healing begin (mild sarcasm)...
