hi, now i know what i look like when i start to go outside the middle 'stable zone' and I know that one step up or down means coping and meds... i need the charts less.

However the psychiatrist needs details for one to two years to see my natural rythems, to see if I have some SAD and adjust meds in the fall or if my Bipo causes problems -like in most others- in the spring.  Also to see if reoccuring stressors are a trigger...  vacations, holidays, snow storms -sorry i am not a winter person-.

sometimes it feels like a big intrusion into my life ... and others a moment to relect on how and why i do the things i do...

hi again, i just take 5 minutes to write in a notebook on bedside table general day or large events. use it just to see the patterns or the big picture. i think the goal is to see the destructive tendencies. you sound like you've been burned a time or two too many? i'm sure alot of us (all) can relate

I know how you feel, track what you eat, track when you sleep, track when you exercise, track your mood.  I am not a journal type person and I won't ever look back at the tracking sheets.  If I am asked to write it down, that person damn well better look at it, otherwise it is a waste of my time, because I don't have the time or energy to do something for someone if they won't bother to look at it.  I do not feel it benefits me to review what I have written no matter who (professional or otherwise) says it will help you, hasn't in the past, and it won't in the future.

Hello WildCat,

I can see how all that graphing can be a lot! I think it is great you do it! I need to start doing graphs too! I think it would help me. I think sometimes it take s a while to see the picture but it is worth it! Anyway, hang in there. And if ever I find a great graph notebook or anything, I will let you know!

Wildcat, glad to see you making progress.  Glad to hear your charting, let me know how it goes, I might give all that a whirl, if there's a payoff!  I've tried charting some things but not all that!  I admire your determination!  And, btw I think you are on to something, I think all those things correlate (positively or negatively).

Color you beautiful!

wildcat,

Believe it or not..this is progress and this information will help you better assess your path and situation.  Good for you for being active in your progress!

Take it day by day and save a tree or two but typing it out in small font!  Go crazy with color, it is awesome fun to express your decorative abilities!

Have a good week-end!

Hi Gang,

It has been a stressfull week, eh... month!  and that -episode two weeks ago has left me fragile STILL!
So I am up to day 5 of waiting for the psychiatrist's secretary to call me back.
My psychologist thinks I am in a good learning curve!
My doctor is happy to leave me in their hands!!!!
And the work crew is out of my house after playing with the electricity (new heating system) and they inadvertently short-curuited the power-supply to the computer!  So we (I)  have a  lot of painting to do!

Now I am tracking my hormones/mentrual cycles. I am tracking moods and meds and sleep (wake, bed times) and stress daily and meals and binge periods.  Now the nutritionist wants me to track what I eat for two months!  What I eat, why I eat what I do, my mood, the physical feelings of hunger and filled.    oh yes and the acid problem!

That is a lot of cut trees!

I do not know just where all this is leading me.  I am trying to fit all this pieces of the bipo puzzle together to figure that magic picture to stability.  I just do not see it.  It is like those old 3d pictures, you relax your eyes in fornt of those waves of colours and a picture would jump up at you!!! well nothing is jumping yet!!!  And I was never any good with relax.  I always needed some two language dictionary to figure relax out.

okay enough of that vent.   the weekend here is a holiday and nice weather is blowing in so the painting will be nice!  It will attempt colour for my first time!  wish me LUCK!!
