Cyn2106, Thanks for sharing this find with us. As moderators we are unable to give any medical advice so we strongly recommend any one thinking of using this medicine or any other alternative treatment to consult with their physician first. There are many other treatments for depression that can work in conjunction with prescription medication or by themselves. Maybe some of our members can share what they have tried in the past. Hi I read in a magazine a few weeks ago about a herbal medicine called 5HTP, that is used to treat depression, anxiety, insomnia and obesity. It works by increasing the levels of seratonin in the brain. From what I have been reading about it, it seems to have shown promising results. Does anyone have any experience of trying this? The instructions for use of 5HTP are very clear. It must not be taken with existing medication except under supervision of your doctor, so please beware. Thanks Lesley
