Rnprincess, Welcome to the Depression Center! You've come to the right place! In addition to participating in our forums, we encourage you to work through the CBT program located in your session diary. Keep us posted on how you're doing. Danielle ____________________ The DC Support Team

Hey there! Here is my history in a nutshell...33 year old wife of almost 8 years, mom of 2 months, RN for 3 years, before that I was still trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up...so lots of school, and worked for a few start up companies doing HR, admin, acct, etc for 6 years. I have been diagnosed with ADD, and Major depression, been on meds for depression since nursing school, and meds for ADD for a year, then off for a year (due to pregnancy) and just started again. It is funny, when I tell people I a depressed, or intraverted, or shy, they laugh at me. Esp those that knew me when I was in my teenage and early twenties. Life and my lousy choice in men did a number on the self esteem (well I guess I can't really blame them, we are suppossed to have controll over our own feelings) :confuse: has left me with a poor self esteem. It is sad to remember how "you used to be" (and with out meds, too). Anywhoo....no pitty party. I am really looking forward to working with this program and helping and working with others that have the same issues I do. My poor hubby, bless his soul, but he just doesn't get it...and I have alienated myself from all of my friends, that it is weird to talk to them about it.
