Hi sadown, Welcome to the site. You have found a great place to share your feelings of depression with members who truly understand what it is like to have these feelings. If you are interested in others' positive experiences, we have a forum where members specifically share their success stories. Many here have had wonderful success with our online Depression program. It is an interactive, 16-session cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)course. When using cognitive behavioral therapy, each person has unique goals in their treatment. Whatever your motivation, cognitive behavioral therapy is a very effective treatment for depression. You can use the tools whether or not you are taking medication, and whether or not you are currently seeing a therapist or mental health professional. The Depression Program has a number of tools and resources to help each individual overcome their depression and win. Stick close and keep us posted on your progress. Take care, Casey ___________________________________ The Depression Center Support Team

Just happened upon this web site. feeling a bit desperate today. Tomorrow is always better. Just would like to here from you that feel this is helping them. I've suffered depression for a long time; am highly sensitive to any medications. Right now I'm "in waiting" to see a physcologist; but that's been since last November. Just feel like I don't want to turn to my family and friends any longer. They've heard it all before. So here I am looking for new listeners!!
