Hi Torstan, could you ever sign in ? I wondered too, how it worked... Did not find out for a long time. Then I noticed, for me it did not work because of some security setting (Active X Steuerelement or so...) but somehow it works now... I wonder if anyone uses it?? I have never seen someone signed in there... however, I think, it would be a nice tool to use!! perth

Hi torstan, As confused advised, the launch icon is located just above the discussion forums. If you are having trouble with this feature, I will copy a post below that you may find helpful. In addition to disabling your pop-up blocker, you also must set your security settings to the default level. To do so, follow these steps: * Open Internet Explorer web browser * Go to tools at the top of the screen * Go to internet options * Go to the security tab * Click on the icon that says default level How to Log Into the new CBT Buddies Instant Messenger: 1. Log into The Depression Center. 2. Go to the DC Support Group page. 3. Click the word “Launch” beside the sentence “The new and improved CBT Buddies Instant Messenger” (this will be right above the main forums table on the DC Support Group Home Page) 4. Voila! You are logged in and ready to chat with other DC members who are logged in and have the Web-Based IM Open. How to Add Members: 1. Log into the DC. 2. Launch the CBT Quitting Buddies Instant Messenger. 3. Click “Add New Contact” at the top of the screen. 4. A screen will pop up. Insert the nickname of the Buddy (their nickname is the name that they use in the Support Group) that you want to add to your contact list and click “Add” 5. You can now begin chatting with your Buddy If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact us via the feedback section. torstan, You need only to click on the Launch Button (in Blue) at the top of these Forums. When reading posts, you will see the blue "add buddy" icon under each members name. Click the buddy you want to add and it will be added to your buddy list. Try and keep your IM Messenger on, to be able to connect with others daily. If you have any problems, please contact us via feedback :) Josie ___________________________________ The Depression Center Support Team.
