Hi - new and scared

One day at a time. If one day is too much, take it hour by hour. My dad always said, "The final page has not been turned." You will get through this. It gets easier. But you're right. It is scary!

Depression is scary. Its hell. Just know that others have been through it, and you can too.

Jenny, There is not one single person in the world who doesn't have problems. Some of us need more help than others, that is nothing to be ashamed of. Feeling bad and weak and inferior or depressed is a reflection of what life has done to you, not of who you really are. If you can just recognize and diagnose yourself as to what it is that is wrong in your life, you can then find out what you need to do to try and fix it. All you need is the motivation to try, and you will be okay. Just don't give up on yourself. You have a core of strength that never dies and can help you if you only find it and use it. I wish you strength for that. L.

Jenny, Welcome to the Depression Center! Many have felt just as you do now and have made great progress disproving that belief. You can get better. It just takes time and one foot in front of the other. Start working through our CBT program. It will teach you about depression and start helping you to set goals for yourself. If you have any questions, just ask. Danielle __________________________ The DC Support Team

Hi, I am new and I am scared. I've been feeling so bad and it won't stop. I just started Wellbutrin yesterday and when I first take it, it helps for a few hours. I am so afraid that I'll never come out of this. I hate that I cannot get better. Thank you so much for this site. :)
