Just a brief introduction: I've been suffering from depression for many years, that is half of my life (I'm 32)! I've tried many treatments but none made me overcome completely the problem. I'm willing to give now a second chance to CBT. The first time I tried with a terapist but I suspect that the fact that I was not regularly having meetings with him and my lack of effort to do my homework made this attempt fail. This time I'll do my best to do my homework and keep on track. This online programme seems to be great and I wish to thank whoever made it possible and free. Especially becasue traditional CBT might be expensive for many. At the same time I'm on meds too: mirtazapine 30mg, bupropion 300mg and T3 hormone 20mcg. Unfortunately they seem to help little. I'll soon try with other meds, but I'm skeptical because in the past I've already tried many of them and often with no result. Electro convulsive therapy could be an option in case nothing else work and I'm seriuosly thinking now about it but I'm scared of the possible memory loss. Well it's all. Sorry if I depressed you further with my story, I'm sure that I'm a rare case and most of people overcome depression soon with proper treatment. Good luck to you all.
