Dear Shannon, I agree with you, that this is a great program for someone, who wants to get the controll back from depression! It's great, that you came to share your story with us. Support group is a very useful tool, if we use it: the more we post the better it gets for all of us, because we can share our feelings, thougts and problems with others who know what we are talking about. You are definitely not alone, there are lots of use struggling with similar problems. And even realizing it can help a lot! Take care, kicse

Hi Ashantai, Welcome to the site. The Depression Center offers personalized, interactive tools that have helped thousands of people challenge and overcome their depression. The core of the Depression Center is our Depression Program which is an interactive, 16-session cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)course. When using cognitive behavioral therapy, each person has unique goals in their treatment. Whatever your motivation, cognitive behavioral therapy is a very effective treatment for depression. You can use the tools whether or not you are taking medication, and whether or not you are currently seeing a therapist or mental health professional. The Depression Program has a number of tools and resources to help each individual overcome their depression and win. Take care, we look forward to hearing from you again soon. Hi everyone, I just joined this site and it looks like a really awesome program. Depression is simply ruining my life, taking over everything and creeping into every aspect of me, even stuff that should really be giving me joy. I absolutely hate it, and I love the idea of being able to connect with others that might be able to help me or at least be friends with me! I know just knowing I'm not alone would be great. If anyone wants to add me to their CBT buddy list, that would be awesome... hope to chat soon. -Shannon
