Hi missyaggrivation, Welcome to the site. Thanks for sharing your introduction here with us. Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "PROGRAM TOOLS" you'll find our Depression Test. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have a Depression Program. The core of the Depression Center is our Depression Program which is an interactive, 16-session cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)course. When using cognitive behavioral therapy, each person has unique goals in their treatment. Whatever your motivation, cognitive behavioral therapy is a very effective treatment for depression. You can use the tools whether or not you are taking medication, and whether or not you are currently seeing a therapist or mental health professional. If you ever have any questions or concerns please click the "CONTACT US" link at the bottom of the page. We're open to any questions or concerns you may have. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Casey ___________________________________ The Depression Center Support Team

Hi, I'm in Toronto, female, mid twenties. I've been depressed for as long as I can remember but have some periods of breaking free from all of it and realizing what my true potential is. I feel like therapy and drugs are me trying to reach that point again. I'm taking Cipralex (was on 30mg, had the fun anorgasmia so went down to 20mg), after being off antidepressants for a few years because they interfered with me sexually. Cipralex I'm finding all right but it's expensive and the sexual side effects suck. BTW, for anyone on Cipralex and having trouble affording it, Lundbeck (the Danish company that makes it) has a program through their office in Montreal called Helping Hands, where your doctor can apply on your behalf and get 3 months' supply free of charge. (Unfortunately they'll only give a max of 90 20mg pills, because 20mg is the maximum recommended dosage, so if you're on more you'll go through the free ones faster.) Most doctors don't know about or don't mention it, it so ask yours. That's all I got. MissyAggrivation
