Newbie: Is it possible?

Welcome from one newbie to another. I believe that what you think has a profound effect on your life. it's true that positive thinking has an effect on your brain chemistry... which of course, the chemicals in your brain effect your moods - as we all know. And one way to keep your thinking upbeat is to hang with people who are upbeat. That helps me the most. I have started to limit my connection with toxic people and have been able to let go and truly enjoy the company of other women my age who are laid back, fun and like to laugh. It truly makes a world of a difference. *hugs* Sparkly

Hi Zaney1956, Welcome to the site. Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. I think you will find some of the answers to your concerns you have posted. If you look to the left of the screen under "PROGRAM TOOLS" you'll find our Depression Test. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. If you ever have any questions or concerns please click the "CONTACT US" link at the bottom of the page. We're open to any questions or concerns you may have. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Casey __________________________________ The Depression Center Support Team

Welcome zaney1956, there is always hope. :) You may need help changing your thought patterns but it seems to work (at least seems to be working for me). Are you under a Dr's care?

Is it possible that all my depression and crazy life have been because of the way I think? I believe that is true. I just never wanted to believe the things that get most people would affect me. I am 49 and had one crazy experience after another. Will it be possible to change it all by changing my thinking? Is there really hope?
