Question about Prozac/depression medcine

19 years ago 0 9 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
yes, you are decribing a common reaction of feeling "better than good" on prozac which could be hypo-mania. someone wrote a book about it with the word prozac in the title but I forget which one it was. I think that you are meant to tell the doctor about how you feel so they can monitor you to see whether you're a bi-polar who has been misdiagnosed and is on the wrong medication. I guess that a lot of people go manic on meds and that's how they find out they are bi-polar. not trying to scare or diagnose you btw. just saying that you should find out more/ask a professional.

Hi Gabbi, Thank you for responding to me. I am glad to hear that you have a med. that gives you some hope and good days - better than no good days at all. Take Care. Amy

Hey thats great that you feeling so much better i take zoloft and i believe it has improved the way i look at the world to a degree i am still trialing different doses because i do still have really bad days so its just a matter of finding the right meds at the right dose that suits each person then i believe life can be good again.Gabbi.

I have been on prozac for two and half months. I feel that taking this medicane is one of the best things I could have done for myself because I feel so much better. Now that I feel better I look back to the past and see how sad I really was and for how long it lasted before I did anything about it. My main question to others that take Prozac or any other form of depression medicine...can it make you feel that life if great (almost to great?) or is it life really is this good (i just did not relize it)Text
