Hi Haggis, Welcome to the site. Thanks for sharing your introduction with us. You have found a great place to share your feelings of depression. Members here truly understand what it is like to experience these feelings. Please take the time to look at our new Depression Program, tools and references at your finger tips. Everything is free and it may be of some help to you. Most of all you may post on the site or even use your CBT buddies (which is like a personal MSN) to contact and speak to other members whenever you like. The members here are supportive and knowledgeable. Please let us know if you need any assistance with any of the features of the site. We look forward to hearing from you again soon, Casey _____________________________________ The Depression Center Support Team

haggis glad you are here. i am the same way. i was dx with bipolar...extreme highs and extreme lows. my highs consist of irritability tho. i get very angry and mean. i am on meds and comply daily with my meds and go to my drs each month. i know exactly what you are going through. one little comment or small mistake can set me off. it can take me on a journey of misery. all i can say is i am doing better since on meds. although not "cured" better. keep posting. this is a great site for help and insight. the people here in the group really care and have helped me alot. id be interested in knowing what your regiment is if you have one. take care!

I am new to this group and website. I am hoping that it will help me to overcome this crippling illness. I suffer from what periods of what I call severe black moods and then moments of high eleation when everhthing is going right adn I can't stop. I sometimes feel like no one understands and that I want to run away and start a 'new' life with a 'new' me but I know that I will be the same person each time! I am 30 years old and married with a lovely house and a good job but it never seems enough - other things just get the way and cause me to get low. It can be as simple as a comment someone makes or making a silly little mistake at work which I blow out of all proportions. I would love to hear from people who have these sort of feelings too and how they cope with them or how they are laerning to cope with them. Thanks Haggis.
